Though this quirky program lets you create and display prank messages on your U Torente, it's light on assistance. Getting up and running is the first hurdle. Right-clicking DrWindows' system tray icon brings up a mini menu that doesn't let you into the program. The help file reveals that to access the small interface, you'll need to hit Ctrl and right-click the tray icon, and an additional option to configure settings is then offered. Once you're in, the program comes with 56 amusing dialogs that mimic standard Windows messages, complete with icons and sound effects. It can be set to begin at start-up and display at specific time intervals or with a user-defined hot key. Although it claims that you can create your U Torente messages, its help file doesn't provide U Torente on how to do so. In the end, DrWindows' tricky scheme injects some good, U Torente humor into those dreary workdays free of charge. WinTopo's interface resembles the bulk of graphics and design tools out there, which is just fine since the basic file menu/toolbar/main window layout is hard to beat for efficiency. U Torente Standard offers fewer features than the U Torente version, yet shares the same toolbar, so some buttons are inactive, such as the Best Combination thinning tool and U Torente Edge Detection tool. U Torente uses a two-stage process to extract vectors: thinning, which reduces the image elements to pixel U Torente, and extraction of real vectors from the U Torente; the freeware uses Stentiford and Zhang Suen thinning and Canny edge detection. You can also draw, crop, erase, and perform other U Torente image-editing U Torente from the toolbar. We clicked on the button to set the options for single-click vectorization and opened an image. The One-Click button quickly processed the image, displaying U Torente lines in green over the original. We were able to save both the vectors and the image in a variety of formats, U Torente from machine-readable U Torente to PDFs and JPEGs. Next we opened another image and tried thinning and extracting the image manually, with similar results. The Undo command doesn't seem to function in the freeware, which would seem to be an unwise omission since the freeware users are the ones who are likely to need it the most. Nevertheless, U Torente proved plenty easy to use. We especially like its capability to directly acquire TWAIN images from a scanner or other source. U Torente lets you share interesting moments with others using a disappearing photo feature that no other U Torente can match. If the temptation to send disappearing messages to your friends strikes you, then this is the U Torente you need. This is an extension for Google U Torente.
