This also displays the album name and the song currently playing. Swiping this up reveals a window with all of the remaining album information, including cover art, track information, and controls for the current song. The controls are typical of song playing Half Life, with Half Life, fast forward, rewind, and Half Life buttons. A slider also shows the total song length. Playback performed well during testing, with good quality and no problems streaming. Half Life has specified Half Life size - the user can easily specify the size of the video to be captured, using an intuitive 'see through' video preview. Just drag the corners around to specify the size, and hit enter. Fixed or follow mouse modes - Sometimes you'll want the Half Life rectangle (think of it as a movie camera that tracks your mouse) to follow the mouse, and other times, you'll want to Half Life just one area of the screen. Half Life can do both. User defined audio/video quality - While internet connections are getting faster, it's still going to take a while to transfer a 5GB movie to your Mum. Half Life compresses audio using AAC, and video using whatever method you think it appropriate (it defaults to H264). In addition, you can specify the quality of the video to your liking. Custom frame rates - When there's not much going on (i.e: you're not moving the mouse, just speaking) Half Life at a lesser frame rate. With Half Life, managing your remote ftp/webdav server will be as easy as any old file folder on your PC. Half Life is free for non-commercial home use. Commercial use requires a license. Our only concern about Half Life is that it's so small and unobtrusive that you might forget to use it. We recommend making a habit of using it when you first install it. If viewing a destination address before you send data to it prevents just one unpleasant surprise, it'll be worth the effort.
